Shoes by Foot Condition
Find the right shoe for your feet
Foot conditions are common, and the right footwear can make a meaningful difference. Below are the conditions our pedorthists most often fit for. Click through to a collection — or come into the store and we will fit you in person.
Plantar Fasciitis
Heel and arch pain, often worst in the morning. Look for shoes with firm heel counters, supportive arches, and gentle cushioning. Recommended brands: Hoka, Brooks, Aetrex, Vionic, Orthofeet.
Flat Feet
Arches that collapse during walking or running. Stability shoes with medial-side support are the standard recommendation. Recommended brands: Hoka (Arahi, Gaviota), Brooks (Adrenaline, Beast), New Balance (860, 1540).
Posterior Tibial Tendinitis
Pain on the inside of the ankle, sometimes with arch collapse. Requires strong medial support and orthotic accommodation. Recommended brands: Hoka (Gaviota), Brooks (Beast/Ariel), Anodyne, Orthofeet.
Wide & High-Volume Feet
If your usual size feels tight across the forefoot or heel, you may need a wider last. We carry D, 2E, 4E, and even 6E widths in select brands. Recommended brands: Hoka Wide, New Balance, SAS, Drew, Propet, Anodyne, Xelero.
Diabetes-Related Foot Care
Diabetic foot care requires shoes that protect against pressure points, accommodate swelling, and pair with custom orthotics. Many of our brands are Medicare-approved. Recommended brands: Drew, Orthofeet, Anodyne, SAS, Apex, Propet.
Work & All-Day Comfort
Standing on hard floors for eight hours wears your feet down. Dansko, SAS, Hoka, and Florsheim Comfort Tech are all built for it. Slip-resistant options available.
High Arches
Cushioned, neutral shoes work best — avoid stability shoes that overcorrect. Recommended brands: Hoka, On, Brooks (Glycerin), New Balance (1080), Saucony.
